assignment #12

1. What is one principle that guides you in life? This may be something you are consciously aware of as a force in your life, or it could be something unintentional. Some examples of guiding principles could be "I value education," "I value family above everything else," or "I won't be happy without money." There is no condemnation for your guiding principle. State your principle, then explain how it shapes your life. Also talk about why that is a guiding principle and why it is important to you.

My most valued principle in life is my family. Family is important to me because they always support you no matter what and they are always there, they also accept you with all your faults. My family is like the best thing and the one true thing that's stable in my life. I wouldn't trade them for anything or anyone else. Sure, they have their faults and annoy me big time but would I be the person I am without their help and nagging? i really doubt it.

2.What is one news event from the past year or so that has had some sort of impact on you, changed the way you viewed the world, or made you think. Explain what the event was and take us through the process of how it changed you.

Globalwarming I don't think its anything that happened in the past year but its an issue that had people nervous, but I think the weather changes are something that affect everyone. Global warming is a major problem and the humans aren't helping with all the pollution.

3. What is one thing you hope to accomplish in 2008? Talk about why it is so important to you, as well as how you want to accomplish it. Write at least 100 words about it. If you can't say anything more about what you want to accomplish, write about other things to help you write more.

Something I would like to accomplish this year will be live life and have lots of fun since its the last year of high school for me. in the past three years I was working hard to get on the same level with my peers because when I was in middle school I skipped a the eighth grade and it was my first time to go to school in the US. I took the BST test as the knowledge test and passed with alot more points than required and instead of putting me in the eighth grade like they planned to I went to the nineth grade and it was really hard adjusting but after alot of hard work I pulled it off. So, this year its all about fun and chillin' some.
